Dear Sir,

We, the students of class XII / X of your college / school beg most respectfully to state that the facilities of our college / school common room are very poor for want of some magazines, newspapers and other furniture. As a result, we are being deprived of getting the possibilities of increasing our general knowledge and being aware of the news of the world.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to increase the common room facilities in our college / school and oblige thereby.
